Stower Grange, a seventeenth century former rectory, is the perfect venue for your wedding celebrations. This beautiful building is in a convenient location, just 4 miles from the centre of Norwich, and is set in wooded grounds extending to two acres. Stower Grange has the additional benefit of being licensed to hold marriage ceremonies.
The picturesque front of Stower Grange and the magnificent mature trees are an ideal backdrop for your special photographs and the large lawn outside the Well Room is yours to enjoy. Picking the correct venue is often as important to your special day as picking the right entertainer. |
From the Stower Grange website - "Whatever your party size, up to a maximum of 100, Stower Grange will provide an excellent meal for your wedding celebrations. We have a range of menus and drinks packages but if you have your own menu items in mind we are happy to discuss the possibility of including them. Invite more guests to an evening party, up to 140 in total. Stower Grange offer guests a light buffet. We also have a four-poster bedroom for the "First Night", complimentary to the Bride & Groom from Stower Grange. Ten other bedrooms ensure that the important guests can also stay overnight. We only hold one wedding a day at Stower Grange, meaning that we can give our Bride and Groom our undivided attention. Our exceptional service will ensure that your Wedding day is truly memorable. Civil Wedding Ceremonies Stower Grange has been approved by Norfolk County Council as a venue for marriage in pursuance of section 26(1)(bb) of the Marriage Act 1949 (as amended). We have two beautiful rooms in which you may hold your marriage ceremony, the Ashley Room (maximum 35) and the Well Room (maximum 100). The Ashley Room at Stower Grange is available for ceremonies with less than 35 guests for an additional charge The air-conditioned Well Room can add that all-important additional comfort for your ceremony and reception during the hot summer months. It can be used if your party is larger than 35. Whilst you have your drinks reception and photographs these rooms can be relaid in order to have your seated Wedding Breakfast. If the Well Room at Stower Grange is used for an evening party following a ceremony and wedding breakfast in the Ashley Room an extra charge will apply. It is your responsibility to arrange for the services of the Registrar, we will take care of everything else. Exclusive Use You will be the only Wedding Party at Stower Grange but if you also wish to have exclusive use of Stower Grange hotel we would be happy to discuss your requirements and the relevant exclusivity fee." |
